Really good Hotel Experience
pleasant staff refillable bottles delicious steak fresh milk
Our family's stay spanned a few days, during which we dined at the restaurant one evening. All personnel were pleasant from check-in onward. They addressed every request. The rooms feature Elemis products in refillable, large bottles and fresh milk rather than uht. Evening meals had delicious options including hangar steak and skate.
The absence of signage made locating the tea and coffee tray inconvenient. I had to search for it.
Rooms
9/10
Rooms are well-equipped with complimentary beverages and biscuits ensuring comfort. Beds are comfortable with spare pillows. Servicing kept our rooms super clean throughout our stay. Bathrooms contained high-quality toiletries.
Service
10/10
Staff demonstrated attentiveness, such as remembering our breakfast drink orders. The team consistently were really good in their service. Staff were polite and also very friendly. No request seemed too difficult.
Location
9/10
The location provides a quiet setting surrounded by lawns and trees. The hotel's driveway and the overall grounds were well-kept. The setting offers a scenic and tranquil experience. The building presents an excellent facade.

Service and Food Size Issues
poor knowledge small food portions
The breakfast service was disappointing. The bar staff lacked knowledge of drinks. Food portions were very small considering the prices. I ordered fish. A fish finger would have filled me up more.

Comfort and Quality Stay
complimentary water helpful staff
I appreciated the complimentary water and apples provided for our departure. The room included Elemis products, which are large refillable bottles. I also liked the availability of fresh milk, not UHT, in the room's fridge. The staff were very helpful and remembered our drinks order during breakfast on the second morning.
I noticed the absence of leisure facilities, such as a gym or pool. The lack of these options limits recreational activities at the hotel. Rooms might need updates because they appear slightly tired.
Rooms
9/10
The room featured tea and coffee, water, soft drinks and biscuits. The beds were comfortable, and additional pillows were supplied upon request. There were also lovely Elemis products available in the bathroom.
Dining
9/10
The restaurant offered delicious meals, and the menu presented various choices. I tasted hangar steak. It was amazing, and I tried the skate. The breakfast service was attentive. The staff asked if we needed anything.
Facilities

The hotel provided grounds for walks. The venue has a bar that serves food and drinks. The hotel offers a terrace and a lounge area where visitors are able to unwind.

The hotel has a good location for visiting local attractions. The building includes an excellent driveway. The situation includes a beautiful spacious estate.

My room was very good and its bed was comfortable. Breakfast had good options, though awareness of gluten-free needs could improve.
Some staff training seems needed for clarifying gluten-free issues.
